The Gutiérrez Mazeres & Amorós Ophthalmological Centre (COGMA) is equipped with the most up-to-date technology for conducting examinations for special diagnoses: ultrasound scanning, angiography, aberrometry, contrast sensitivity test, computerised campimetry, optical coherence tomography, nerve fibre analyser, anterior chamber analysis, endothelial microscopy, etc.
COGMA is one of the most experienced Spanish clinics in both the diagnosis of difficult illnesses and surgical interventions. In recent years, approximately 7,500 operations have been carried out in the Centre’s installations.
Patients are operated on in the centre’s own theatres, as outpatients, and they can rely on permanent care from the surgeon who has operated on them. All of this, along with the fact that they can recover from the treatment in the family setting, helps to instil peace of mind and security in those patients operated on and the members of their families.
